Blazing Brass Showband |
|
The Blazing Brass Show Band is an independant marching brass band with strong ties to the church. We compete at national level and perform at a number of local events. We are based mainly at Highfield Road Baptist church and Band practice is on Wednesdays starting at 7:00pm and finishing at 8:30pm. We provide an opportunity for young people aged 10 to18 to learn and develop skills on a number of instruments and currently have openings on the brass, marching bells and a range of drums. We supply the instruments and teaching and there is a small yearly fee currently at fifteen pounds per person. We have charitable status independant of the church.
